Some LEGO elements pose very specific challenges, and the 2x2 corner plate is one of those. Rarely has this element played a primary role in my work--which is exactly why I took up the challenge. And I could not have been more surprised at the simple and elegant design that emerged once mixed with 2x2 plates. The hexagonal motif is also circular, and the simple black and white is subtle and beautiful.
